First Card for New Students

All new undergraduate, graduate, transfer, and distance learning students will use the FSUCard online photo submission system to request an FSUCard.  Please visit https://fsucard.fsu.edu/your-fsucard for more information.

Replacements for Students

You may not actually need a replacement! Current students can access their FSUCard and Library Card numbers through the my.fsu.edu portal under My Profile in the myFSU Identity Management section. In many cases, the numbers themselves will provide the required access.

1. FSUID and EMPLID

Your FSUID is what you use to sign in to your myFSU portal. To locate your EMPLID, sign in to my.fsu.edu, select FSUID Identity Management, and select My Profile.
2. Physical Government-Issued Photo ID
Obtaining your FSUCard requires a valid state driver’s license, passport, military ID, or other government-issued ID. Pictures or printouts of IDs will not be accepted.
3. Smile!
This is a photo ID card, so we will be taking your picture. If you need special accommodations for the picture, please speak with a member of our staff.
4. Protect Your Card
Store your FSUCard in a wallet, card sleeve or other cover to keep it safe from electronic equipment. Do not leave your FSUCard in a hot car as this may warp the plastic, causing it to break. Adding stickers, adhesives, ink and hole punches may also cause damage to the card.
