What to do right after misplacing your FSUCard

  1. Contact the FSUCard Center to see if it was turned in.
  2. If they do not have it, go online and freeze your FSUCard account immediately by logging in to the FSUCard eAccounts! If you do not do this, FSU cannot be held responsible for any missing funds in your account.

What to do after receiving a replacement FSUCard

If your card was lost, stolen or otherwise updated in which a new card number was issued, refer to the following for Full Seminole Access:

SunTrust:

If you are using the banking option offered with the FSUCard, visit customer service at the campus branch of SunTrust so that they may close your current account and open a new one to match your new FSUCard number. The money in your checking account will be transferred and available for use within 24 – 48 hours. This service DOES NOT update automatically!

Seminole Dining:

If you have a meal plan or Garnet Bucks through Seminole Dining, your new FSUCard number will be automatically updated overnight. If you need access to your meal plan today, present the pink copy of your FSUCard Agreement form for meal portion access at The Suwannee Room, The Fresh Food Company or The Figg Player’s Dining Room.

FSUCash:

Your FSUCash account will be automatically updated when your FSUCard number changes. All funds and services, on campus and through myFSU Student Central, will be available the next day.

University Housing:

If you live in a Residence Hall, your security file will be automatically updated overnight to your new FSUCard number. If you need Residence Hall access today, you may go to the Housing Office located in the Askew Student Life Center to update your FSUCard number.

Leach Center, Wellness Center, Computer Labs, and Library Entry:

Access to these services will be automatically updated to your new FSUCard overnight. If you need to use any of these services today, present the pink copy of your FSUCard Agreement form.

Library Services:

Your library card number will be automatically updated for checking out materials within 48 hours. If you need access to library services today, take your new FSUCard to the main circulation desk at Strozier Library.

StarMetro:

If you use your FSUCard for free city bus services, be advised that it may take up to 72 hours for it to be updated in StarMetro’s system. During this time, show bus drivers the pink copy of your FSUCard Agreement form to avoid paying a fare.
