Using Your FSUCard

Official University ID Card

The FSUCard serves as your official physical University ID and is used across campus for all things FSU. In order for anyone on campus to identify you as an FSU student, you must always have your FSUCard on you. Keep your FSUCard safe and do not share your information with others. Think of it as your license for campus living!

Payments

Your FSUCard can be used as payment at on-campus and off-campus locations. On-campus locations will ask you which of the three accounts (FSUCash, SunTrust Debit or Dining) to pull funds from prior to processing the purchase. Off-campus payments will be drawn from your (optional) linked SunTrust debit account.

Seminole dining Account

Your meal plan, GarnetBucks and FlexBucks are accessed through your FSUCard. Visit Seminole Dining or contact seminoledining@fsu.edu or 850-644-3663 for more information.

Library Card

You will need your FSUCard to get in and out of the libraries, so make sure you keep it handy at all times. From borrowing books and equipment to reserving study rooms, your FSUCard does everything a regular library card does, and more! For more information, visit lib.fsu.edu

SunTrust Banking

FSU's official banking partner, SunTrust offers an optional free checking account with no monthly maintenance fee and no required minimum balance. This account also allows you to direct deposit financial aid and scholarship money. You can even link the account to your FSUCard to enable it to work off campus wherever PIN based debit is accepted. Check out the SunTrust page, visit the campus branch next to the FSUCard Center or call the campus branch at 850-273-7306 for more information.

Residence Halls

Living on campus? In order to ensure the safety of on-campus residents, the FSUCard is the one and only way to enter your residence hall building. Simply swipe your FSUCard at any entrance door of your residence hall to gain access!

StarMetro City Bus

Seminole Express buses are a great way to get where you want to go around campus quickly and comfortably, but what about when you need to go further? Any member of the FSU community with a valid FSUCard can take the StarMetro city bus around town at absolutely no cost. Simply swipe your FSUCard upon entering the bus and leave the rest to us! Visit StarMetro's website for riding guides, and additional information.

Campus Recreation

Your health is of the utmost importance! Through tuition, each student gets access to two on-campus fitness facilities: the Leach Center and the Fitness and Movement Clinic. Both locations are open every day at convenient hours that fit every student’s busy schedule. Just present your FSUCard upon entry and start sweating!  The FSU Rez (the FSU Reservation) is the place to go when you want to soak up the sun, play in the water, and much more! Find out about all the relaxing and fun activities that Campus Recreation has to offer at campusrec.fsu.edu.

Campus Laundry

Each residence hall has a laundry room for you to use. Swipe your FSUCard to pay for washing and drying with FSUCash. Don't wait for a machine! Check out the laundry app in myFSU Mobile to see when machines are in use or are available! For more information on campus laundry, visit our Laundry page.

Campus Printing

Printing out notes or assignments for class is easy with your FSUCard! Using FSUCash, you can print from your own computer or campus computers on your way to class! Find out more about student printing at obs.fsu.edu.

Testing Center

Taking tests is inevitable as a college student. At any point, a class may require you to take a test at the FSU Testing Center. In order to do this, you must have a valid FSUCard - otherwise you will not be able to access your exam! Ensure your FSUCard meets Testing Center requirements before your test.

Campus Events

FSU's campus is always teeming with events and the FSUCard is your all access pass! From athletics events to concerts and shows, your FSUCard gets you in. For more information about all of FSU's events, visit the FSU Calendar.
