Using Your FSUCard

Official University ID

The FSUCard serves as your official University ID. You may need it to swipe at time clocks, into buildings or offices, and to obtain keys as determined by your department. It should be kept with you at all times.


Door Access

Door access is managed by FSU Campus Access & Security Services (CASS). To change, update, or obtain door access please contact your approved departmental representative.


On-Campus Purchases

No matter where you are on campus, your FSUCard has you covered. All FSUCards come with an FSUCash account. This is a "pocket change" account that can be used to make purchases at vending machines, Seminole Dining locations, the FSU Bookstore, and the UPS Store. Reload FSUCash through my.fsu.edu or the myFSU Mobile app.


SunTrust Banking

As FSU's official banking partner, SunTrust offers an optional free checking account with benefits for faculty and staff, as well as other banking services. For more information, visit the branch located right next to the FSUCard Center or call 850-273-7306.


Seminole Dining

Seminole Dining offers meal plans for faculty and staff, which include All You Care to Eat dining halls and VIP options to add on meals at retail locations. Meal plans are eligible for payroll deduction. Browse the Seminole Dining site, call 850-644-3663, or visit Seminole Dining inside the FSUCard Center.


StarMetro City Bus

Any member of the FSU community, including faculty and staff, can take the StarMetro city bus around town at no cost with a valid FSUCard. Simply swipe your FSUCard upon entering the bus and leave the rest to us! Visit StarMetro's website for riding guides and additional information.


Health and Fitness

Use your FSUCard to unlock a healthier you! Campus Recreation has memberships available for faculty and staff that include many perks, including unlimited access to the Leach Center (including pool, racquetball and squash courts, indoor track, and more), the Fitness and Movement Clinic, and free admission to the FSU Reservation. Memberships include exlusive fitness classes for faculty and staff, and much more. Library Card

Faculty and staff have access to University Libraries, including checking out books and equipment, as well as reserving select rooms. For more information, visit the University Libraries site.


Discounts Around Town

Florida State has teamed up with various businesses for discounts and specials exclusive to FSU employees through the Seminole Savings program. Show your FSUCard to get savings on vehicle purchases and services, to discounts on vacation packages, amusement park tickets, or meals at local restaurants.
